Primary 5 and 6 students also read Goodies, an English newspaper for young English learners, to learn about the format of non-fiction writing. At the same time, the articles on fun facts, social issues, events happening around the world help them broaden their horizons.

Teachers also provide students with extra reading materials to match with the topics students are learning.
